Sadly my little break away in Canada has come to an end 😔 I have had such a wonderful time exploring Vancouver, Tofino and Whistler with my adventure buddies and fantastic guides @nickwilson_dj and @levilambchop 😊
As someone who tends to only go places near the equator, I've really enjoyed experiencing a totally different climate (including standing on a frozen lake and seeing snow in trees for the first time! As well as -13°c ❄❄❄).
I'm loving how warm homes, restaurants and shops are and actually understand how people live in cold places (NZ houses are freeeezing in Winter!). This little drawing was done on the Vancouver Island ferry (inspired by my pencil case 😅). I'm feeling refreshed, inspired and ready to finish of 2019 with some new artwork and projects!

For the next two days I'll be live painting in Atsugi, Japan as part of a very cool underground street art and music festival 😊
Chika means underground in Japanese, but is also a feminine given name meaning wisdom/good/flower when written in kanji characters.
I'll be painting alongside local street artist @luiseono (check out her beautiful work!), street performers and DJs as well as my good friend @yoshi_travel 🇯🇵🎨
